KUYY! Child Safety Standards

KUYY! is an app for finding, booking, and running classes, sports, and community activities. It is published on Google Play and the App Store by PT Kreasi Untuk Indonesia (listed on Google Play as PT. KREASI UNTUK INDONESIA), which also runs the kuyy.app and kuyy.id websites. These standards apply to KUYY! and to every app we publish for partners on the KUYY platform, and to everyone who uses them: Participants, parents and guardians, Hosts, and Hosts' staff. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

KUYY! does not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We remove it, close the accounts involved, and report it to the authorities.

1. WHAT IS PROHIBITED

A child is anyone under 18. On KUYY!, and at any Activity booked through it, you may not:

  • Upload, share, store, request, or link to child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any photo, video, drawing, text, or AI-generated or edited image that shows a child in a sexual way.
  • Sexualise a child in a chat, moment, Activity post, profile, Activity page, or a site built with the Website Builder.
  • Groom a child: build contact or trust with a child, or with the adults around them, in order to sexually abuse or exploit them, whether on KUYY! or after moving the conversation elsewhere.
  • Sextort a child: pressure or threaten a child to get sexual images, money, or anything else, including with intimate images that are real or only claimed to exist.
  • Traffic a child, or offer, advertise, or arrange the sexual exploitation of a child, including through an Activity page.
  • Contact a child, or arrange to meet one, for any sexual purpose.

This list is not exhaustive. Any content or conduct that sexually abuses, exploits, or endangers a child breaks these standards.

2. CHILDREN ON KUYY!

You must be 18 or older to create a KUYY! account. A child takes part in an Activity only when a parent or guardian registers them as a Participant from the parent's or guardian's own account, and that adult is responsible for them on KUYY! (Terms of Service, Section 2). Photos and videos of a child need the permission of their parent or guardian (Terms of Service, Section 9).

3. HOSTS AND STAFF WHO WORK WITH CHILDREN

Many Hosts run classes for children. If you do, you and your staff must:

  • Keep contact with a child to what the Activity needs, and discuss the child's participation with their parent or guardian.
  • Never ask a child for private photos, personal contact details, or meetings outside the Activity.
  • Post photos or videos of children only with their parent's or guardian's permission, and never in a way that sexualises them.
  • Follow the child protection law that applies to your Activity, including any checks your field requires of coaches and instructors.

We do not run background checks on Hosts (Terms of Service, Section 3). Parents and guardians should check a Host's credentials before enrolling a child.

4. HOW TO REPORT

If a child is in immediate danger, call the police on 110 first.

To report CSAE on KUYY!:

  • In the app: go to Settings > Contact Support and choose "Report an activity or host". Tell us the username, chat, moment, or Activity involved.
  • By email: write to hello@kuyy.app with the subject "Child safety". You do not need a KUYY! account to report.
  • To stop someone contacting you or your child, open their profile and tap Block. They can no longer message you or join your Activities.

Do not download, screenshot, or forward suspected CSAM, even to report it. Keeping or sending it can itself be a crime. Tell us where it is and we will find it.

You can also report directly to:

  • SAPA 129, the complaints service of Indonesia's Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection: call 129.
  • aduankonten.id, the content complaints service of Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi).
  • Outside Indonesia: the NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) or your country's hotline listed by INHOPE (inhope.org).

5. WHAT WE DO WITH A REPORT

  • We review child safety reports ahead of any other report.
  • We remove CSAM and other content that breaks these standards as soon as we confirm it.
  • We close the accounts involved permanently and do not let them back.
  • We preserve the evidence and report CSAM and child exploitation to the Indonesian National Police and the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, and to NCMEC or the relevant national authority when a case involves another country.
  • We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement and child protection authorities.
  • We do not tell the reported person who reported them.

6. LAWS WE FOLLOW

KUYY! complies with the child safety laws that apply to it, including Indonesian Law No. 23 of 2002 on Child Protection and its amendments, Law No. 44 of 2008 on Pornography, Law No. 12 of 2022 on Sexual Violence Crimes, and Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions and its amendments, and any other child safety law that applies where KUYY! is available.

7. CHILD SAFETY CONTACT

Our child safety point of contact answers questions about these standards and about how KUYY! prevents and handles CSAM: hello@kuyy.app (subject: Child safety), or PT Kreasi Untuk Indonesia, Gedung Menara Olahraga Senayan (MOS), 11th floor FX Office Tower, Jl. Jenderal Sudirman, Gelora, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, DKI Jakarta 10270.
